Answer:

A listing agreement is a contract that spells out the specific rights and responsibility of both the broker and the client in a real estate transaction.

What is a listing agreement?

A listing agreement gives us (Creekview Realty) the right to represent you and to list your property on your local MLS (Multiple Listing Service).

When you list with Creekview Realty, the term of your listing agreement is for 6 months (unless otherwise specified) and doesn’t begin until your property is active and searchable on your MLS.

Here is a printable version of our listing agreement.

Unlike most listing agreements with other traditional 6% agents, you may cancel at any time with no strings attached.

And, if your home is located between two cities, you might be eligible for a secondary listing in an adjacent MLS.

Creekview is a member of every major MLS in Texas. We can list you in more than one MLS at the same time–thus maximizing your market exposure.
